Though Steph Fregosi of Three Fates Yarns is unable to join us in person this year, we’re delighted to feature some of her most in-demand yarn bases in an online trunk show. The daughter of two semi-retired artists, Steph’s life-long obsession with color is apparent in her gorgeous colorways and gradient sets. Many of her products are fine yarns, which can be used for a wide variety of projects but are specifically crafted to make stunning socks, gloves, or mittens.

We’ll host InTheBagPDX for a trunk show all four days of the Crawl. Owner Tracy creates practical but fun and unique bags and storage accessories for all your project needs, from sweaters to socks. Her show will feature limited special-edition hand-embroidered notions pouches just for the Crawl!

Wendy Hanson of Shaggy Bear Farms runs a “farm to needle” business in Scio, Oregon, where she raises her animals and hand-dyes her yarn. She cares for more than 400 sheep, goats, rabbits and llamas, many of whom are rescue animals. Wendy always fills our classroom with an amazing variety of yarns – be sure to stop by and listen to Wendy’s tales of life on the farm!

Bad Dog Studio is run by sister-brother duo Rachel and Dan. Originally from New Gloucester, Maine the two use a combination of traditional Shaker techniques and modern sensibilities in their beautiful, functional artwork. Rachel creates the ceramics and Dan the wooden wares. They are inspired by their very good very bad dogs.

In 2022, Vanessa and her husband, Dustin, wanted to create a space for them to be creative together, and so ōSHən Fibres and Howlin Bear Fibers were born. Vanessa draws inspiration from her deep love for the ocean and nature, while Dustin draws inspiration from his musical background. All of their hand-dyed yarn is created with intention in Astoria, Oregon.
