We will kick off the 2021 Yarn Crawl with a 4 day Mosaic Moon Pop-up Shop! Yowza!!

Mosaic Moon is led by Indie Dyer Morwenna Palmehn, based in Ashland, Oregon. While Morwenna started Mosaic Moon as a small custom-knitting business in 2003, it has grown into a top dyer in the indie-dyed yarn and fiber world.

Come see Morwenna’s amazing colorways, paired with soft and scrumptious yarn bases! She’s known for her Gradient Cakes and Gradient Sweater Kits, as well as her “Theme” colorways like “Wonder Woman”. We all love her beautiful – and softly yummy – yarns!

Three Fates Yarn Trunk Show
Mar 4 @ 10:00 am – Mar 14 @ 5:00 pm
Three Fates Yarn Trunk Show @ Portland | Oregon | United States
We are pleased to showcase some of the lovely yarns created by Stephania Fregosi of Three Fates Yarns. These yarns will be for sale for all 8 days we are open during the 2021 Crawl.
Steph is an indie dyer from Salem, Oregon, well-known for her use of colors – especially notable in her Sock Blanks, as well as her Gradient yarns.
The name of Steph’s company, Three Fates, comes from the three Greek goddesses, also known as The Fates or the Moirae. They spin the thread of life, weave it into a tapestry and determine when it’s cut off. What a fitting name for a yarn company!

Shaggy Bear Farms Pop-up Shop
Mar 11 @ 10:00 am – Mar 14 @ 5:00 pm
Shaggy Bear Farms Pop-up Shop @ Portland | Oregon | United States

We will host the very special yarns and fibers from Shaggy Bear Farms for a 4 day Pop-up Shop during the second week of the Crawl.

Farmer and Dyer Wendy Hanson runs a “farm to needle” operation in Scio, Oregon, managing a flock of over 400 animals. Many of which are rescue animals, so your purchases not only support Wendy, but also all of these wonderful animals she has saved!

Wendy’s inventory truly has something for everyone: Beautiful, vibrant colors as well as undyed, natural hues; buttery soft merino/silk blends and rugged, “crunchy” yarns. There are a variety of yarn weights to choose from, as well as a variety of fibers and fiber blends. Many of Wendy’s yarns are more unique fiber blends, which is a real treat!

Spinners take note: Wendy will have lots of undyed roving from her unique and rare breeds. This is a great opportunity to stock up on your favorite fibers!

Before heading out, be sure to check Northwest Wool’s crawl hours listed on their shop page.
